Hi, I’m Donna. I break it down so your dog can build it up.
Every dog learns differently, so in my classes I take each task and break it into smaller pieces that your dog can get right, then build them back together into the finished result. It keeps dogs confident and owners smiling.
I work with puppy owners getting off to a good start, gundog owners who want a keen, steady working partner, and anyone whose dog would love more enrichment and a bit more confidence. Training is always reward-based, and I keep classes to a maximum of six so I can help every dog individually.

Questions owners ask
Does reward-based training really work for gundogs?
Yes. Reward-based training teaches a gundog what you want and makes them keen to do it again. Steadiness, delivery and focus are all broken into small steps, so your dog builds the skill and the enthusiasm together.
How old does my puppy need to be to start?
The sooner the better. Get in touch with your puppy’s age and vaccination status and I will let you know the best class or session to start with.
How big are your classes?
Never more than six. Small classes mean I can help each dog individually, breaking each exercise down to suit them rather than teaching one routine to everyone.
My dog is not a gundog. Can we still come?
Of course. Puppy classes, group classes, 1-2-1 sessions and enrichment games are for all kinds of dogs, especially ones who need a little more confidence.
